Collio DOC Bianco 2014 Tenuta di Angoris
Description
The Collio Bianco of Tenuta di Angoris is born in vineyards located in Stabili della Rocca, in the municipality of Cormòns, the capital of Friuli wine.
It is mainly produced with Friulano grapes and with Sauvignon and Malvasia grapes, harvested entirely by hand towards the end of September. After cold maceration, the must ferments at controlled temperature for 14 days. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees for 10 months and for a further 4 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market.
This Collio Bianco is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with a rich and intense bouquet, with aromas of sage, thyme and acacia, enriched by elegant hints of green apple and tropical notes. On the palate it is warm, pleasantly dry and savory. The wine has a medium structure, with a harmonious body.
Perfect to accompany raw fish and sushi, it is ideal in combination with fish and shellfish dishes.
