Description
The Sauvignon Blanc Sandis is produced by Marco Felluga in the municipalities of San Floriano, Oslavia, and Cormòns, in the hilly area of Friuli. The soils, of Eocene origin, are composed of marl and sandstone, elements that enhance the wine's aromatic and mineral component.
The winemaking process includes the destemming of the grapes, followed by cold maceration for part of the mass. After a delicate pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel. The wine then ages for about six months on the lees, with a further rest in the bottle before being marketed.
It appears golden yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet is intense and fresh, with vegetal notes of sage, elderflower, and bell pepper. On the palate, it shows marked acidity that emphasizes its freshness and a good structure that provides balance to the sip.
Ideal with vegetable-based dishes, fresh cheeses, or fish preparations with herbal fragrances.
