Coste della Sesia Rosso DOC Orbello 2019 Tenute Sella
Description
The Orbello delle Tenute Sella is a wine conceived as a "family wine", obtained from a blend of Barbera, Croatina, Nebbiolo, Vespolina and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that arise from the young owned vineyards located in the municipalities of Villa del Bosco, Busnengo and Lessona, in the Upper Piedmont.
The grapes are harvested in early October. This is followed by de-stemming and fermentation in steel tanks, with maceration on the skins for 10 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine rests for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Bright ruby red to the eye, it expresses itself on the nose with spicy and red fruit notes that suddenly blend pleasantly mineral. The palate is fresh and crunchy, with a delicate tannicity that supports the sip, and then finishes on a fruity and harmonious finish.
Particularly suitable in the company of a platter of cured meats or cheeses, it goes well with second courses of red meat.
