Description

Chateau d'Arlay's Vin Jaune is an icon, both for the company's production and for viticulture all over the world. Produced in France, in the Jura region, this precious nectar has given the Domaine a series of prizes and awards which have rightly raised this white with an endless profile in the gotha.

It is produced by leaving the wine for at least 7 years in wooden barrels which, by natural evaporation through the porous walls, become creams during refinement. The formation of the classic layer of yeasts protects the underlying wine and preserves it from oxidation, giving it that peculiar hint of walnut husk that unites it to the world of Sharry.

It shows an intense, bright, golden yellow. The olfactory facet is impressive: it introduces a citrus and candied fruit, and then opens up to toasted notes of coffee, hazelnut, walnut husk, toasted bread and spicy notes of curry, vanilla, ginger, inserted on a complex texture of resin and ethereal hints . In the mouth it reflects the articulated personality, chiseled in a fine freshness and supported by an important body. Endless persistence, almost like its perfume.

Perfect to accompany Asian cuisine and Shiitake mushroom dishes.
