Description
This Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge by Victor Berard is produced in the southern part of the Rhône Valley, from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and other native grape varieties of the region. The terroir, characterized by clay-limestone soils with the presence of stones, contributes to enhancing the wine's structure and aromatic complexity.
The grapes are harvested mechanically and vinified according to traditional methods, with an 8-day maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation. This process allows for a perfect balance between freshness and roundness, fully highlighting the varietal characteristics.
In appearance, it presents a deep ruby red color with purplish reflections. The bouquet is intense and fruity, with fine notes of red and black fruits over a spicy base. On the palate, it is direct and enveloping, with great softness and elegance that accompany a harmonious and persistent finish.
It pairs perfectly with grilled meats, veal or duck-based dishes.
