Description

Lodoli Dolcetto from Ca' del Baio is a Dolcetto d’Alba made from grapes grown in the cru Vallegrande and Marcarini vineyards in Treiso, adjacent to the vineyards destined for Barbaresco. It's a wine that embodies the everyday tradition of Piedmont, designed to offer simplicity, authenticity, and versatility at the table.

The vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel, with maceration and alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation and a short aging period, also in steel, before bottling. This method preserves the freshness and immediacy of the fruit.

The color is ruby red with purplish highlights. The nose has a vinous and intense aroma with fruity notes of cherry, wild strawberries, and blackberries. On the palate, it is dry, harmonious, with good acidity, and a pleasant almondy aftertaste that highlights its territorial character.

Perfect with Italian first courses, roasted poultry, fried potatoes, cold cuts, and cheeses, it is an ideal choice for any everyday meal.
