Description
Dolcetto d'Asti Filippo was born in the splendid vineyards of Cascina Giovinale, located on the hills of Monferrato, in Piedmont.
This wine is made exclusively with Dolcetto grapes, harvested and selected in mid-September. After a destemming and maceration on the skins lasting about 10 days, the product is left to ferment at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. After the fermentation processes it is aged in the tank and, subsequently, in the bottle.
Dolcetto d'Asti Filippo from Cascina Giovinale is characterized by a bright and intense ruby red color. The nose reveals a subtle but very fine wine, with interesting aromas of black fruit and some spicy hints in the background. In the mouth it is easy to drink, thanks to soft tannins which, accompanied very well by good softness, bring an excellent structural balance.
It goes well with appetizers, aged cheeses, cold cuts and salami. Also try with white meats such as rabbit and chicken.
