Description

The Fiano di Avellino Quercia Grossa is produced by Feudi di San Gregorio, one of the largest and most successful wineries in Campania, which produces both white and red wines in Irpinia, a historic region in the Campanian Apennines in the province of Avellino. The "Feudi Studi" line is a limited edition that is created each year from the most expressive vineyards selected from the company's 800 available vineyards.

The wine is composed exclusively of Fiano grapes, which are pressed and fermented in steel at 18-20°C, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The wine thus obtained is aged in steel on fine lees for 8-10 months, with weekly batonnage, followed by 12-18 months in the bottle.

This wine displays a straw-yellow color with golden reflections, revealing aromas of exotic fruit, elderflower, orange blossoms, and ginger on the nose. The sip is dry and fresh, with a long finish.

Ideal to enjoy with seafood risotto and grilled fish.
