Salento IGT Estella Fiano 2015 San Marzano
Description
The Fiano Salento Estella was born in the hilly area north of the province of Taranto, in the vineyards of the fantastic Apulian company San Marzano.
Produced exclusively with Fiano grapes, carefully picked by hand during the last week of August and cold macerated for about 8 hours, this wine is statically decanted cold and carries out alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 11 ° C. After a period of aging in steel, the product is finally bottled and put on the market.
Estella di San Marzano shows a straw yellow color, accompanied by soft greenish reflections. The nose opens with fragrant floral notes combined with hints of exotic fruit, for a fresh and persuasive aromatic component. In the mouth it wraps for its softness and for a harmonious flavor, well supported by a good acidic streak.
To be consumed in the first 2 years of life, this Fiano is perfect for seafood: appetizers, first courses not too elaborate and pink sauces, all based on fish.
