Description

Pavò winery's Franciacorta Brut Riserva Girolamo Cristini is rarely produced, usually every five years, and it is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot noir, never available before five years from harvesting. Vineyards are located in Provaglio d'Iseo and produce a unique sparkling wine for its aromatic completeness, elegance and personality.

The sparkling wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. A variable percentage, depending on the vintage, is aged in small French oak barriques. Afterwards the natural second fermentation in bottle takes place and then the ageing on lees for at least 60 months.

Its colour is straw yellow, provided with a fine and persistent perlage. To the nose emerge hints of toasted bread, candied citrus fruits and aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is fine, fresh and sapid, with a creamy and structured sip.

Perfect with fish dishes, even raw, and white meats.
