Description
Franciacorta Satèn is a sparkling wine from the Pavò winery located in Iseo, in the province of Brescia, in one of the most renowned Italian areas for the production of Classic Method sparkling wines. The wine is the result of an assembly of Chardonnay grapes in purity, which arises from the desire to enhance all the best plots in the high hills and facing north such as those of Provaglio d'Iseo.
The wine is produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes are brought to the cellar and immediately pressed, to then ferment in steel vats. The bottling for the second fermentation always takes place in spring, then the bottles remain in the cellar to refine for at least 24 months.
Its color is bright straw yellow, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals aromas of yellow fruit and dried flowers, with balsamic final notes. In the mouth the wine is pleasantly round, fresh and savory, with a discreet persistence.
Ideal as an aperitif, it is perfect to accompany cold meat and fish appetizers, spaghetti alla corsara or grilled sea bream.
