Description

Franciacorta Cisiolo, produced by Villa Crespia, hails from vineyards located in the heart of the Franciacorta DOCG.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and a small part in oak barrels, in contact with the yeasts, at a controlled temperature of 17 °C. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks for 7–8 months and partly in barrique for 6–12 months, and then refined in the bottle for another 30 months before being released.
It has a bright straw yellow colour. The nose opens with intense notes of bread crust, enriched with hints of white flowers, lily of the valley and wisteria. The palate is pleasantly fresh and savoury, with good persistence.
Perfect with fish soups and grilled white meats.
