Franciacorta DOCG Rosé Corteaura
Description
Franciacorta Rosè di Corteaura is born in vineyards located in different municipalities of the magical terroir of Franciacorta.
It is produced with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand starting from mid-August. After a soft pressing, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C. The vinification processes are then calibrated on the basis of the vineyard of origin of the grapes and the base wines are expertly assembled to prepare the cuvée. Subsequently the wine ages in bottle on its lees for about 36 months at a temperature of 12-15 ° C.
Franciacorta Rosè di Corteaura has a soft and delicate pink color. The nose opens with intense hints of blackberry and raspberry, typical of Pinot Noir. On the palate it is fresh, soft and juicy.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is perfect to accompany fish dishes, light red meats, mixed cold cuts, tomato sauce dishes, pizza and aged cheeses.
