Description

What kind of wine it is

The Franciacorta Brut Rosé by Corte alle Stelle is crafted from a balanced blend of Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. Vinification follows the rigorous Traditional Method, ensuring a technical and precise style. Hand harvesting in advance and prolonged aging in bottle define a harmonious profile and refined liveliness, offering a clear and measured expression, enriched by lees aging.

Where it comes from

This wine is born on the moraine hills of Franciacorta, a land defining the deep identity of the sparkling wine. This geological conformation shapes the structure of the product and steers it towards an orderly rosé. The landscape, dedicated to sparkling wine production, is the ideal cradle for wines obtained through bottle refermentation, enhancing the territorial character and the interaction between grape variety and the natural environment.

How it is produced

Pinot Nero and Chardonnay grapes are harvested early in mid-August, picked by hand, and placed in wooden boxes. Processing begins with a first cold fermentation in steel tanks to preserve aromatic freshness. The transformation is completed following the Traditional Method, with a second fermentation and bottle aging for twenty-four months. This careful resting on the lees provides fragrant bakery-like aromas.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it displays a luminous pale pink hue, enhanced by brilliant golden highlights. The nose is delicate, introduced by wild berry notes leading to a finish dominated by crusty bread and yeast, signs of lees aging. The entry on the palate is enveloping, supported by an elegant sapidity and a measured progression. The flavor balance delivers a clean and dynamic sip, where freshness and smoothness seamlessly blend.

Food pairings

Its pronounced versatility makes it ideal to accompany dishes featuring shellfish and caviar, where its lively sapidity balances delicate marine textures. It elegantly pairs with fish-based preparations, enhancing briny flavors thanks to its freshness. Its excellent taste structure allows for successful pairings even at the end of the meal, as it matches fine cheeses and refined desserts. It is perfect to complement a seafood menu, ensuring consistent flavor harmony.

When to serve it

It is the ideal choice to accompany a meal focused on marine flavors, bringing harmonic and continuous balance to the table. Its evolved profile also makes it suitable for convivial closings to taste selections of cheeses or pastries. The label stands out with depictions of the zodiac constellations of Pisces, Aries, and Taurus, offering a fascinating visual detail during table service. The wine’s mature expression ensures a composed experience.
