Description
This Ribolla Gialla from Tenimenti Civa was born in the vineyards of Bellazoia di Povoletto, in the province of Udine, whose Friulian name Biele Zôe identifies the production line to which it belongs.
It is composed almost entirely of Ribolla Gialla grapes, with small additions of Chardonnay grapes and other autochthonous Friulian varieties, whose harvest takes place entirely less around the middle of September. Once decanted, the must ferments in steel containers for about 15 days and ages in steel for 4-6 months in contact with the fine lees.
It has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers delicate hints of white-fleshed fruit, achieved by a pleasant floral texture. On the palate it is dry and aromatic, of inexhaustible persistence.
Ideal in combination with a starter based on molluscs, it is perfect in the company of all courses based on fish, especially if steamed or grilled.
