Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Liende Friulano 2015 La Viarte

Friulano Liende comes from the oldest vineyards owned by the La Viarte winery, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli area. A territorial and complex wine that, by virtue of its characteristics, has earned the name of Liende, or Legend.

Tocai Friulano grapes in purity, carefully selected from the old vineyards located at a hilly altitude of about 150 meters above sea level and determined by a very mineral soil. The harvest takes place strictly by hand and allows only the best bunches to be brought to the cellar. After a soft pressing, the must ferments partly in steel and partly in barrique. It follows an aging of about 7 months in contact with its fine lees, both inside stainless steel tanks and inside barriques. A final month of bottle aging makes the wine ready for marketing

It has an intense straw yellow color. The nose opens with fruity notes of apple, bitter almond and fresh white flowers. In the mouth it is sapid and played in an excellent balance with a very full body. Confirm the trail of dried fruit in closing.
