Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Tullio Zamò 2015 Le Vigne di Zamò

The Friuli Colli Orientali Tullio Zamò delle Vigne di Zamò is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Manzano, in the province of Udine.

It is obtained from pure Pinot Blanc grapes, harvested and selected only by hand in the first week of September. Fermentation, with partial maceration of the grapes, begins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and ends in barrique. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in partially new barriques for 10 months before being bottled.

With its intense golden yellow color, Cru Tullio Zamò opens to the nose with an explosion of ripe fruit, vanilla and spices, which follow on the palate. In the mouth it is medium bodied, with good acidity and minerality.

Excellent in combination with tasty first courses and second courses based on fish, white meats and mushrooms, this white wine is ideal to accompany elaborate dishes with legumes, cod and stockfish.
