Description

Gavi di Gavi from Cà di Mezzo is a white wine made exclusively with Cortese grapes grown in the Municipality of Gavi, one of the most renowned areas in Piedmont for this type of wine. The vineyards, situated at an altitude between 290 and 300 meters and with a predominant south-east exposure, have their roots in clayey-marl soils that contribute to the wine's balance and finesse.

The vinification is done using white winemaking processes, with controlled fermentation in steel tanks at a temperature between 18 and 20°C. The wine is matured exclusively in steel for at least six months, a choice that best preserves the fragrance and freshness of the aromatic profile, enhancing the varietal characteristics of the Cortese grape.

It presents with a straw yellow color crossed by greenish reflections. On the nose, it releases fresh and fruity aromas, accompanied by elegant scents of white flowers. The sip is dry, balanced, with a delicate final almond note, enriching the drink with pleasant persistence and a touch of minerality.

Ideal when paired with Mediterranean cuisine dishes based on fish, shellfish, and white meats.
