Description
Grappa Riserva 24 Anni di Nonino is a blend of grappas distilled with a discontinuous artisan method in a copper steam alembic from fresh pomace of native Friuli grapes. During the process, the production head and tail are renounced to preserve only the purest and most noble part, the heart. This grappa ages for 24 years in small oak barrels that previously contained Sherry Oloroso n ° 354 and n ° 364, under seal and strict control of the Customs and Monopoly Agency. The precious glass bottle that encloses it exudes rarity and luxury, hand-brushed, in 24-carat gold, and hand-engraved "with a diamond wheel".
It announces itself to the eye with a golden yellow color tending to amber. The olfactory profile is rich and intense, where sensations of cream, honey and exotic fruit insinuate themselves in an aromatic texture of orange and chocolate, evolving into a persuasive smoky trail. In the mouth it has a fruity and persistent taste, in which exotic and spicy notes return and then give way to a finish on fascinating smoky and Sherry notes.
Sublime smooth, it can be combined with cheeses of great personality, foie gras and chocolate, but it is also ideal when reading or paired with a good cigar in a moment of relaxation.
