Description
Cantine Ceci's Hippy beer is a tribute to the Emilian company to the Belgian tradition of Farmhouse Ale. Produced with a base of barley malt and wheat malt, the mashing involves a long infusion phase. The must produced is bitter with different varieties of hops, both European and American, to obtain the right balance between bitter notes and aromatic intensity.
This beer has a veiled blond color, well accompanied by a compact and persistent foam. The nose offers a decisive citrus and grapefruit perfume conferred by the aromatic hops used in the production phase, with hints of cereals and wheat as a side dish. In the mouth it shows a light body, with citrus sensations that return together with the bitter notes of hops. The finish is moderately persistent.
The Hippy di Ceci is perfect in combination with appetizers and cold cuts, excellent also for the aperitif moment or for a not too seasoned pizza.
