Description
Poggio Grasso was born inside the Fattoria Santa Vittoria, located in the splendid stage of the Arezzo hills.
This wine is made exclusively with Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested and selected by hand. The product is left to ferment and macerate on the skins for ten days, after which it ages for twelve months in French barriques and for as many months in the bottle.
Poggio al Grasso has an intense ruby color. The nose brings pleasant sensations of chocolate, blackberries and blueberries, with a good fruity persistence. In the mouth it shows an excellent body and a great harmony, with delicate but very present tannins, which accompany towards a finish.
Perfect with red meats, also spiced and well elaborated.
