Isonzo del Friuli DOC Pinot Grigio 2015 Colmello di Grotta

This Pinot Grigio was born in the vineyards of the Colmello di Grotta farm, a very interesting reality located in Farra d'Isonzo, in the province of Gorizia, in the DOC Isonzo.

Obtained from pure Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested manually in the first ten days of September, this wine is left to ferment in steel for about 10 days at constantly controlled temperatures. Refine in the same containers for a short time, before being bottled.

The Collio Pinot Grigio of Colmello di Grotta has a bright straw yellow color. The nose carries wide aromas of white flowers and yellow fruit in youth becoming more complex from the second year of life. In the mouth it shows elegance and excellent aromaticity, with an enviable final persistence.

To be consumed in the first three years of life, this Pinot Grigio goes perfectly with white meats and not too elaborate appetizers. Excellent with vegetarian dishes and vegetables in general.
