Jumilla DOP Idílico 2012 Casa de la Ermita
Description
The Idilico of Casa de la Ermita was born in the vineyards of the Spanish company, located in the heart of the famous denomination Jumilla.
Produced with a blend of Monastrell and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested and selected by hand, this wine, after the red vinification processes, ages for at least thirteen months in American and French oak barriques. Bottling and aging in glass follows.
The Idilico di Casa de la Ermita has a ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose shows an extremely interesting aromatic complexity, with sensations of wet earth (lost after a little oxygenation), which are accompanied by notes of mint and spices, among which cloves and black pepper stand out. In the mouth it shows an extraordinary envelopment and density, with elegant tannins and a sweet sensation in the finish.
To be drunk after being decanted, this red goes well with roasts, red meats and well-aged cheeses. It can also accompany white meats.
