Kremstal DAC Riesling Von der Terrassen 2016 Salomon

The Riesling Von Der Terrassen Kremstal DAC originates in Austria, where the Kremstal region meets the Wachau.

It comes from a mineral terroir, with a soil enriched with gneis, granite, shale and partly loess. The vineyards are organized according to terraces and facing south. It is the lean soils and the influence of the Danube on the microclimate that create excellent conditions for the good cultivation of white berried grapes. A dry Riesling of great finesse and aromatic precision is obtained, left to express its authenticity to the maximum through the use of steel in winemaking.

Its color is straw yellow. The olfactory imprint mainly plays on the fruit that reminds of a white peach, apricot and citrus, finished by a chiseled rocky mineral vein. In the mouth it shows a good balance and stands out for its savory finesse, which gives the sip a great class and fluent drinkability.

To be combined with a sea bass in salt.
