Lazio IGT Pantaleo 2016 Cincinnato

Lazio Pantaleo was born in the vineyards of the emerging Lazio reality of Cincinnato, located near the lava hills, in the heart of the Corese territory.

This white is made entirely from Greco grapes, harvested during the second decade of September and selected in the cellar. After a soft pressing, the must is cooled to 8 ° C to obtain a natural settling. After 10-12 days of maceration with the skins, the newborn wine has completed the alcoholic fermentation. Subsequently the malolactic fermentation is carried out which gives roundness and harmony. As soon as it is ripe, the wine is aged in used oak barrels for 6-8 months and in bottle for 6 months, before being put on the market.

It has a straw yellow color with soft golden reflections. The nose offers a fine and elegant floral bouquet. In the mouth it shows flavor and freshness, with marked mineral notes typical of the grape and terroir.

To be tasted in youth, this wine is perfect with not too elaborate first courses and fish dishes.
