Lugana DOC Pas Dosé Metodo Classico 2007 Zenato
Description
Zenato's Lugana Pas Dosé Metodo Classico is born in vineyards located between the towns of Peschiera and Desenzano, south of Lake Garda.
It is produced entirely with Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, carefully selected in the company's "historic" vineyards and harvested manually in the first ten days of September. After the classic white winemaking processes, the second fermentation takes place by refermentation in the bottle, according to the Classic Method, with aging for 64 months on its lees. The liqueur d'expedition is not added to this sparkling wine in order to enhance its natural and terroir characteristics.
The Lugana Pas Dosé Classic Method of Zenato is characterized by a bright and bright golden yellow color. The nose opens with delicate fruity notes of ripe pineapple and exotic fruit, enriched with hints of almond and bread crust due to the long aging period spent on its lees. On the palate it is full and mineral, pleasantly persistent.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is perfect as a sparkling wine throughout the meal.
