Description
The Valle de Uco Mendoza Malbec of the Estate Selection of Chakana was born in vineyards located in Altamira and Gualtallary di Tupungato, in the magical Valle de Uco, in the heart of the famous Argentine wine region of Mendoza.
It is mainly produced with Malbec grapes and with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 8 months in wooden barrels and concrete tanks, before being bottled.
Chakana's Malbec Estate Selection has a concentrated ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of sweet coal and white chocolate, enriched with notes of blueberries, blackberries and spring flowers. On the palate it is full-bodied, elegant and delicate.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and roasts, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
