Maraschino Maraska
Description
Maraschino from Maraska comes from Zadar, in Croatian Istria, the cradle of what is known worldwide as the "King of spirits". In these places was also born the ancient recipe with which it is produced, dating back to the Middle Ages, which provides for the distillation of marasca cherry, from which the name maraschino, and a 2-year stay in Finnish ash vats.
It is a colorless liqueur. The nose expresses intense aromas characteristic of the precious raw material of departure, the marasca cherry, with references to sour cherries. The taste is sweetly sweet and persuasive.
Ideal to accompany chocolate or to correct a good coffee, it takes part in classic cocktails such as Cuba Libre, Daiquiri, Screwdriver but above all in the typical Aviation.
