Description
The Balbino by Terenzi is a white wine made from Vermentino grapes grown on limestone-rich soils in the Maremma region. The vines are trained using the Guyot system with a density of 5,000 vines per hectare, ensuring a balanced yield and consistent quality production.
Harvest takes place in mid-September, followed by gentle pressing of whole grapes using a pneumatic press. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 18°C for 12 days, with no contact with the skins. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out to preserve the wine's freshness, which subsequently matures in steel before bottling.
The wine shows a deep straw yellow color. On the nose, elegant aromas of pear and white flowers emerge. On the palate, it stands out for its finesse and clarity, with the typical fruity and floral notes of the variety, a lively freshness, and harmonious balance.
Perfect with fish dishes, seafood, shellfish soups, or light pasta with vegetables.
