Maremma Toscana DOC Rosso Mongrana 2021 Querciabella

The Maremma Toscana Rosso Mongrana by Querciabella comes from vineyards located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. This wine, which perfectly represents the colours and sounds of this area, takes its name and its character from that of the noble family of knights represented by the poet Ludovico Ariosto in his masterpiece the Orlando Furioso.

It is produced with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested entirely by hand between September and October, and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, one part is aged in concrete tanks and another in barriques for 10 months, then added to the final mixture.

Mongrana is characterized by an intense ruby red colour. The nose has hints of fresh and enveloping berries, while on the palate it offers an intense flavour.

Perfect to accompany first courses of meat sauce, game and roasts.
