Marlborough Pinot Nero Rise and Shine 2013 Kim Crawford Wines

Kim Crawford's Pinot Noir Rise and Shine comes from small selected particles from the Marlborough area. It takes its name from the stream of the same name that runs through the heart of the Central Otago area.

Fruit of only Pinot Noir grapes that slowly ripen on the plant until reaching the ideal level of ripeness. The entire winemaking process takes place in order to preserve the intensity and aromatic complexity achieved in maceration.

It is characterized by a deep and intense ruby red color with purple touches. The nose is harmonious and fragrant, with a combination of red and black fruits embroidered with light spicy notes. In the mouth it is velvety and soft, with a long and concentrated finish of cassis.

It goes well with sweet and delicate meats such as partridge and duck. Excellent in combination with game in general.
