Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc GI 2019 Seresin
Description
Sauvignon Blanc Seresin is a biodynamic wine produced in the Marlborough region with Sauvignon Blanc grapes accompanied by a small part of Sémillon.
The vines are grown on soils consisting mainly of loam and clay. The harvest is done strictly by hand. After pressing, the must ferments partly in steel, partly in French oak barrels in a natural way. After a long period that can last up to 16 weeks, the wine remains in contact with the fine lees for 7 months before being stabilized and filtered. 25% of the wood used is new.
Intense straw yellow in color, it has mineral and floral notes tending to elderberry and broom with citrus returns of lemon, guava and wild herbs. On the palate it is rich and concentrated, with good minerality, for a pleasant, enveloping drink with a medium-long finish.
Ideal for fish risotto, shellfish and grilled white meats, it also goes well with vegetarian lasagna and fried foods.
