Marruca Birra al Miele Birra Amiata
Description
Marruca di Birra Amiata owes its name to the area of the same name, in the Grosseto area, where honey is produced which becomes the main ingredient of this beer. This craft is surprising in that it is balanced and not cloying, a non-honey honey beer.
Marruca is characterized by a strong blond color, which goes towards amber, and a compact foam. The nose is dominated by the sweet and delicate notes of honey, with fruity notes that cool the aromas. In the mouth it has a good balance between malts and hops, with a robust and enveloping alcohol content of honey. At the end of the mouth it proves dry and clean.
This beer finds its maximum expression if accompanied with cheeses, seasoned and fresh, or if proposed with honey desserts.
