Description

Bodega Privada Malbec is an Argentinian red wine produced by Bodega RPB in the Mendoza region, embodying the generous and sunny character of the territory at the foothills of the Andes. Made from Malbec grapes, it stands out for its rounded, fruity and enveloping profile, designed to enhance the grape's natural aromatic intensity.

The winemaking process involves a cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature and a further maceration on the skins to promote structure and extraction. The aging is aimed at preserving the fruity expression of Malbec, with contact with French and American oak during fermentation and subsequent partial maturation in used barrels, which adds delicate spicy notes without overshadowing the fruit.

In the glass it displays deep violet hues. On the nose, it offers clear aromas of black plum, ripe cherry and blackberry, enriched by hints of violet, light notes of vanilla, cocoa, sweet spices and a subtle mineral trace; on the palate it's smooth, fruity and well-structured, with soft tannins and a pleasant persistence.

It pairs well with grilled meats, roasts, empanadas, medium-mature cheeses and flavorful dishes from Argentine cuisine.
