Mendoza IG Unanime 2011 Bodegas Santa Ana
Description
The Unanime of Bodegas Santa Ana was born in vineyards located in San Carlos, in the magical Uco Valley, in the Argentine region of Mendoza, known for the production of the highest quality wines.
It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After crushing and destemming, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 23-25 ° C for 19 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 20 months, before being bottled.
Unanime is characterized by a cherry red color. The nose opens with elegant hints of chocolate, enriched with pleasant notes of tobacco and black pepper. On the palate it is fresh, with a pleasantly juicy acidity. The wine has a good structure and round tannins.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with roasts and game.
