Merlot Canti

The Merlot from Canti's Varietals Line is a red with an elegant and modern profile, made from Merlot grapes grown in selected areas to enhance the intensity and richness of the grape variety. The bottle represents contemporary Italian style and is a versatile choice for various times of the day, from formal meals to casual tastings.

The winemaking process involves traditional maceration at a controlled temperature, during which the skins remain in contact with the must to best extract aromas and structure. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness of the fruit and the softness of the sip, with an optional passage in wood to enrich the aromatic profile.

Visually, it appears ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, it expresses intense and mature aromas, with fruity notes reminiscent of plum and dark cherry. On the palate, it is ethereal, spicy, and well balanced, with an enveloping structure and a soft finish that invites another sip.

It pairs perfectly with meat dishes and aged cheeses.
