Description

The Merlot from the Canti Varietals Line is a red wine with an elegant and modern profile, obtained from Merlot grapes grown in selected areas to enhance the intensity and richness of the variety. The bottle embodies contemporary Italian style and offers a versatile choice to accompany various moments of the day, from formal meals to informal tastings.

The winemaking process involves traditional maceration at controlled temperature, during which the skins remain in contact with the must to best extract aromas and structure. Ageing takes place in steel tanks, preserving the freshness of the fruit and the smoothness of the sip, with possible maturation in wood to enrich the aromatic profile.

It shows a ruby red color with violet hues. On the nose, it expresses intense and mature aromas, with fruity notes reminiscent of plum and dark cherry. On the palate it is ethereal, spicy, and well-balanced, with an enveloping structure and a smooth finish that invites another sip.

It pairs perfectly with meat dishes and aged cheeses.
