Espadin Mezcal Vago
Description
The Mezcal Espadin di Vago is an artisan mezcal born on the hills around the village of Candeleria Yegole, south of Oaxaca, Mexico. Produced entirely with agave of the Espadin variety, this mezcal is produced by a process that involves double distillation and hand bottling after filtration through a tubular cellulose filter.
Crystalline white in color, Mezcal Espadin by Vago brings light hints of sweet potato, citrus and flint to the nose. On the palate it presents hints of anise and green banana, with a pleasantly long finish of pine and caramel.
Excellent on its own, this mezcal is ideal as an ingredient for preparing cocktails.
