Description

The Sagrantino di Montefalco di Goretti was born in vineyards located in Pietrauta, in the Perugia area of Montefalco.

It is produced exclusively with Sagrantino grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the first 15 days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature, after which the wine ages for 14-18 months in wood and ages for 12-14 months in bottle before being released on the market.

It has a dark ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with fruity sensations of blackberry, raspberry and plum. On the palate it is structured, with firm but elegant tannins that accompany a persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany spiced roasted red meats and game, this wine is ideal in combination with cold cuts and aged cheeses.
