Description
Poggio dei Gelsi Falesco was born in the Montefiascone area, on the shores of Lake Bolsena.
The grapes used are 30% Malvasia and Trebbiano and 40% Roscello, harvested between the last week of September and the first half of October. The must is placed in stainless steel tanks. With the help of indigenous yeasts, alcoholic fermentation starts at a temperature of 13-15 ° C. This treatment amplifies the fragrances and aromatic characteristics belonging to the various vines.
Poggio dei Gelsi Falesco has a straw yellow color. The nose opens with notes of ripe peaches and plums with elegant floral hints. On the palate it gives a pleasant freshness and aroma thanks to the perfect balance between the components.
It goes well with fish and shellfish dishes.
