Description

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DiRè is produced on the hills of Mozzagrogna, in Abruzzo.

It is produced exclusively with Montepulciano grapes, harvested by hand and macerated at controlled temperature for 30 days, at the end of which the soft pressing takes place. After a brief natural settling, the wine remains in oak barrels for 12 months and is then bottled, where it is refined for another 90 days.

It is a wine with an excellent quality / price ratio. It is characterized by an intense ruby red color and immediately presents aromas of violet and cherry, with notes of plum jam and dark chocolate. The taste is full-bodied, structured, with an important flavor.

Perfect in accompaniment to roasts and stews, it is particularly suitable with tasty soups and aged cheeses. Also surprising in combination with game and fresh pasta with meat sauce.
