Description
The Morellino di Scansano Capatosta of Poggio Argentiera was born in the vineyards located in the municipality of Scansano.
It is produced 85% with Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo and Alicante grapes. The must ferments in wooden vats at controlled temperature and then the wine ages in oak barrels before being bottled.
It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of ripe cherries and pleasant floral notes. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh, responsive and of great elegance. The wine is perfectly balanced, with a defined tannic texture and a finish of great persistence on the fruit.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with white meats and aged cheeses.
