Description

The Chardonnay Hautes Pistes by Aubert et Mathieu is an elegant white wine that expresses the delicacy and purity typical of the terroir of Haute Vallée de l'Aude.

The wine is vinified in barrels with daily batonnage for three weeks and then aged in demi-muids for six months, processes that give it structure and complexity without altering its fresh and refined character.

On the palate, it is smooth and enveloping, with a good balance between creaminess and acidity. The nose reveals light brioche notes, enriched by soft hints of almonds and apricots, while a lively citrus touch gives freshness and harmony; along with flavors of white flowers, toasted acacia and a persistent finish.

Perfect with sushi, lean fish and fresh cheeses.
