Pernand-Vergelesses Rouge by Olivier Leflaive is a red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on soils rich in ferruginous clay, silica, and limestone, located on the lower and middle slopes of the appellation. This combination of soil and climate gives the wine elegance and finesse, highlighting the typical character of the Burgundy region.

The winemaking process includes complete destemming of the grapes and fermentation in open vats, followed by aging in oak barrels with a brief period in steel tanks to integrate the components.

On the nose, it offers delicate notes of fresh red fruits, accompanied by hints of green tea and dried flowers; on the palate, it is refined and elegant, featuring a balanced structure and a pleasant freshness that enhances its drinkability.

It pairs excellently with red meats, lamb, feathered game, and grilled dishes.
