Description

The Cuvée 18 Months Classic Method was born in the historic Gancia cellars located in Canelli, in the heart of the Asti and Cuneo hills.

Produced with the assembly of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, the wine, obtained by soft pressing and partial fermentation in barrique, is stored in steel containers until the time of preparation of the cuvée and the draft. The sparkling process follows the canons of the Classic Method, with fermentation in the bottle for about 40 days and subsequent rest in the cellar for 18 months.

It is characterized by a straw yellow color, with light greenish reflections. The nose offers fine and elegant sensations of ripe fruit and vanilla, with notes of well-present yeasts. In the mouth, the freshness and the excellent savory vein stand out, well supported by a persuasive creaminess.

Perfect for the aperitif moment, it is ideal in combination with light appetizers, first courses and risotto.
