Description
This Pouilly-Fumé Blanc is a white wine produced in France by Trésors de Loire using Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Loire Valley, in the commune of Pouilly-sur-Loire. This wine is renowned for the mineral character and elegance that expresses the terroir from which it comes.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, to enhance the freshness and aromatic purity typical of the grape variety. Aging also takes place in steel, in order to preserve the varietal and mineral notes that define the style of the denomination.
It presents a lively and refined aromatic profile, dominated by citrus notes, white flowers, and a typical smoky note reminiscent of flint. On the palate, it is fresh, agile, with a beautiful acidity and a persistent mineral finish.
Perfect with shellfish, oysters, or carpaccio of white fish.
