Description

Palombara is Tenute Rubino's Primitivo di Manduria, coming from the estate of the same name.

The pure Primitivo grapes are vinified in thermo-regulated steel tanks, with a maceration of 15 days. The refinement takes place for 16 months in steel and for 6 months in the bottle.

Intense ruby colour, it presents hints of black cherry, violet, thyme and delicate spices on the nose. The sip is fresh and crunchy, with a fairly persistent finish.

Ideal in combination with baked pasta with tasty meat sauces, grilled red meat and mature cheeses.
