Description

This Primitivo Merlot Tarantino belongs to the Talò line of the famous Apulian company San Marzano. Born in vineyards located 100 m above sea level, on the Salento hills of Puglia.

Obtained exclusively from Primitivo and Merlot grapes, carefully harvested during the first half of September, this wine ferments with selected yeasts and then ages in French oak barriques for 6 months before being bottled.

Primitivo Merlot Tarantino Talò is characterized by a very intense ruby red color, with soft garnet streaks. The nose offers a scent rich in ripe red fruit, cherries and berries, which are accompanied by sensations of cinnamon. In the mouth it has an excellent structure and a velvety tannic texture. The finish is extremely pleasant.

This wine maintains its organoleptic potential intact for at least 5 years. It divinely combines with very elaborate first courses, red meats, game and well-aged cheeses.
