Prosecco DOC Extra Dry Rosé Giro d'Italia Astoria

The Prosecco Extra Dry Rosé DOC Giro d'Italia Astoria was created to celebrate 10 years of toast to the Giro d'Italia with Astoria sparkling wines and is the official sparkling wine of the Giro d'Italia 2021.

Born from the selection of the best Glera and Pinot Nero grapes, this fantastic rosé Prosecco is made sparkling with the Charmat martinotti method to enhance the intense aromas of the grapes. The manual harvest is followed by soft pressing and static decanting of the must. After fermentation, the new wine is kept on the “noble lees” for a month, then filtered and poured into autoclaves for the second fermentation, which takes place at 18 ° C with the use of selected yeasts and lasts about 20-25 days. This is followed by 40-50 days of aging on the lees, then at least 60 days in an autoclave.

The pale pink color of this Prosecco rosé highlights the very fine and persistent perlage and its floral and fruity aromas anticipate a fresh and elegant taste.
