Puglia IGT Boamundus 2013 Tor de' Falchi
Description
The Puglia Boamundus of Tor de 'Falchi was born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Andria and Minervino Murge, on the hills of the Alta Murgia.
It is produced with Montepulciano and Nero di Troia grapes, harvested manually in the first week of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel wine tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in steel and in bottles, before being placed on the market.
It is characterized by a ruby red color, with intense purple reflections. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of red fruit. In the mouth it is soft and fruity, with a pleasantly tannic and balanced finish.
Ideal in combination with roasts and pasta with sauce, it is perfect to accompany peasant soups and roasted white meats.
